Getting started
Install hawkO, sign in, grant permissions, and capture your first meeting.
hawkO records microphone and optional system (meeting) audio, transcribes live, and produces summaries tied to your calendar.
Download and install
Grab the macOS installer from the marketing site, then open the app.
Sign in
Sign in with Google using your primary hawkO identity. Connect additional Google accounts later for Calendar only.
Onboarding
The first-run wizard covers welcome, optional Calendar connection, and microphone / system-audio permissions.
First meeting
- From Calendar: on the home calendar strip, click Meeting note for a scheduled meeting. Then click the green play button in the recording control to start recording and begin transcript generation.
- From a quick capture: click Quick note, then click the green play button to start recording and begin transcript generation.
- When the meeting ends, stop recording. Then click Summarize to generate the meeting summary and any action items.
While transcription is in progress, the recording control persists across screens so you can move around the app without losing the active session.
