Core workflow
Meetings & transcription
Live capture, transcription providers, and how notes are saved.
Each meeting note pairs live audio with a rolling transcript. After recording stops, use Summarize to generate the meeting summary and any action items.
Start a transcript
- Calendar flow: from the home calendar strip, click Meeting note for a scheduled meeting. Then click the green play button in the recording control to start recording and begin transcript generation.
- Quick capture flow: click Quick note, then click the green play button to start recording and begin transcript generation.
- End the meeting by stopping recording. Then click Summarize to generate the summary and action items if any are found.
Capture path
- Microphone audio is always captured for your voice.
- Optional meeting audio mixes in when Include meeting / tab audio is enabled.
- Mic and system streams combine to mono for cloud realtime providers (Deepgram, Soniox, etc.) or separate chunks for local Whisper.
Transcript UI
Interim text appears live; final segments merge on pauses and persist to your account. While transcription is in progress, the recording control persists across screens, so you can move around the app without ending the session.
Ask Anything
After a transcript note exists, use the Ask Anything input in the note footer to ask questions about the meeting. If chat is not ready yet, the app shows Chat needs a transcript note.
Limits
Meetings up to about two hours are supported in normal workflows.
MCP access
AI assistants can read stored meetings via Connect AI tools (MCP).
