Microphone

Grant microphone access when prompted. If denied earlier, enable hawkO under Privacy & Security → Microphone, then restart the app.

Screen & system audio

On recent macOS, both Screen & System Audio Recording and (on macOS 15+) System Audio Recording Only may be required for reliable loopback capture.

Accessibility & speech

Some features may prompt for accessibility or speech recognition; only grant what the in-app settings screen requests.

Troubleshooting silent system audio

• Confirm both macOS audio permissions above are on.
• Restart hawkO after changes.
• Toggle Include meeting / tab audio in Settings → Audio.
